Yes, it will be confusing at first with the new designations, and with the communities having no rhyme or reason of why the number was assigned to them, the change in designations might not make much sense. However, it will make it easier for people to know where that bus will take them. For example, McKeesport is 11 for designation. Any route beginning with letter+11 or begins with 11 will serve McKeesport. When possible, I will keep the route name that the new bus will replace. For example the E111: McKeesport will partially replace the 61C: McKeesport. Yes, there is a change, but I will note which routes are being replaced with the appropriate designations.
